 Thanks!

First off all, thanks, I for one really missed info on KDE apps. I think very soon people will start complaining about the high number of "screensavers" when compared to other apps, my guess is that you'll end up having to create a "all but screensavers" option, like you did for "screenshots" in kde-look.

Well, I think the high amount of Screensavers are because the Screensavers already posted on KDE-Look.org were moved to KDE-Apps.org. This will surely change, when more and more developers become aware of KDE-Apps.org.

I don't think there will be that many screensavers. It just looks that way because they were imported from kde-look and thus flooded the site for the opening.

For my part I have already sent Picwiz to kde-apps. I am proud to have been the first poster. :-p

kde-apps rocks.

 Multiple files

It would no doubt be helpful if each entry could be allowed to upload multiple files, rather than the present situation which allows the upload of one file and linking to many others. Then we could finally be rid of the problem of multiple entries for source, rpm, deb, etc.

I'm sure it wouldn't mean too much hard disk space, since the majority of apps will already be hosted externally and so won't need any files hosted on kde-apps.org

Look at http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=9697 for example. On KDE-Apps this is possible.

Looking at the Upload page on KDE-Look, it looks like it is possible here now, as well. Unless I am sorely mistaken .... ?

 screenshots at kde-a

It's a big shame that all the latest entries do not have any screenshot, though..

I won't d/l _any_ program without a screenshot, showing what it looks like.

If there's no screenshot I'll assume it's too ugly to look at and won't waste my time on it.

This is mainly because one user (AlphaOrion) is massively posting links to various applications, no matter if they are KDE related or not.

And I doubt that AlphaOrion is the official maintainer for software like PSI, LICQ, KDevelop, QT,...
