well, not that i would like to partipiate (i am not an artist, and neither is digiKam of any use to me personally) but couldnt hide a belly laugh about the prize .

what if someone is using a sony memory stick, and gets such a memory card as the prize? this would be a real PIA for him, no? . IMHO the prize should be specified a little more in detail..

btw.. dont get me wrong! digiKam might be a really good applicaton! though my cam is not comeing with an USB connector, and thats the only reason why digiKam is of no use to me.

digikam can be used with usb, serial or USB/FireWire MassStorage peripherals.

Take a look in the handbook here :

http://docs.kde.org/en/HEAD/kdeextragear-3/digikam/

digiKam isn't only a camera interface, it's also an images management application with an image editor.

I am glad that you pointed this out. And appreciate your humor on the subject. The reason we didn't specify the type or brand of memory card is because not all cameras except the same kind of card. So the prize will be specific to your camera if you were to win. NOT A BAD DEAL!!! Thank you for your comments as they are all welcome.

1) It's possible to use png alpha blending pixels ?
2) All "superimpose" must be landscape oriented ?
Fun job waiting for digikam ;)

Fred.
