Mosfet imho has been treated like shit. After all he has done, he still recieved so much complains, and unthankfullness (probably not the right word for it).

Mosfet, good luck! I hope the windows people will be a lot more appreciative for what you do.

An ac said: "Mosfet has been treated like shit".

No he hasn't. He's a young gifted hacker who doesn't have any idea about how to behave in a large distributed software project like KDE. Before at least two major releases of KDE, he popped up a couple of days before the feature freeze with major code changed that he demanded be accepted into CVS.

If you want to be taken seriously, you don't just do that... at least you should be telling people what you are doing. And then, when you are told that it's going to have to wait until the next feature release, you don't immediately remove all your code from CVS, and relicense it all under a more restrictive license.

While he was around, Mosfet's erratic behaviour was tolerated far more than he deserved. When he took his toys and went home, we lost a brilliant coder, but gained a little more peace and serenity.

Liquid wasnt all that special anyhow. Who cares if he's leaving Linux and kde, we'll do just fine without him it's not as if the success or failure of Linux or kde is dependant upon anything he does. So lets not sensationalize this whole thing, big waaaaah.
