I don't really like the new 'updated' and 'fresh' icons... They look kind of unproffesional. The old ones were much better IMHO.

I think they make site look brighter, it's not so messy anymore. But a bit darker border around it might look good.

I think, the changes make sense and I can not see a reason to not being satisfied ;)

It needs only a bit time for the people here, to get used with the changed style, thats all :)

 Content Changes?

What about changes in the content system? IMHO these are more pressing and important than the look of the site.

There have been many suggestions made, such as being able to upload multiple files per project (so we don't end up with the same wallpaper submitted for 4 different sizes, and 10 different shades of colors), and other annoyances.

I personally would like to see a sidebar option where instead of "all but screenshots", I can see "all but wallpapers", since I dont' mind screenshots as much as the tons of wallpapers i have to wade through to get to the meat in this site.

Just a little constructive criticism from an adoring kdelook fan

 filtering wallpapers

Hi, all the new features are nice, but I think that a new filter in order to avoid wallpapers is needed. Every day a lot of walls are posted, and they flood kde-look. I would put a new filter called "All but screenshots and wallpapers", kde-look would be nicer IMHO.

The remember login idea is great, but the website is storing my password in plain text as a cookie.
At the very least you should store a hash of the password, but the best solution would be to store a session ID, linked to one on the server.
