No More Spam!

Join this group if you are sick and tired of all the spam that's popping up on OpenDesktop. It seems to be a new spam group every week now!

I am now an admin, and I can delete spam groups and events, so I will try to keep them under control. But I can't delete users, so I will leave this group up to keep track of spam users.

You can also offer solutions to the problem here, like have a reporting system so admins can look up the user or group and ban them.

(0) Known spam users:

The numbers are how much spam the user has created. This includes how many spam groups the user has created,regardless if they still exist or not, as well as any spam comments, events, etc.

Post below if you know of any more, and I'll add them to my list. Thank you.

It won't let me log into beryl-themes.org. It redirects me to opendesktop.org and says the content doesn't exist. Since I can't log in, I can't delete it. :/

Got it to work, deleted the comment.

Also, comments are automatically published after the user completes the captcha and hits submit. You could send a suggestion to the site head, Frank, username "Frank".

The spammer doesn't give up or it is a very happy family ;-) Now it is http://gnomefiles.org/usermanager/search.php?username=commmon1383. The spam comments are on my Beryl-themes and Gnomefiles sites, but I already asked Frank as you proposed.

So it seems that nude art is allowed as long as it's not pornographic or illegal.
