Theme requests

Artwork
Description:

This group is for requesting a new theme, and in particular, NEW kinds of themes, not just the same old stuff.

This group is also for artists with a need for ideas, like me ;D

I will try to answer as many requests as I can, but I will not be able to do all of them, at least until more artists join.

Right now I only can do Emerald themes, unless some one else would like to do metacity. I also will not make GTK themes, because of how much work they are, in addition to icon themes. For window borders only until someone would like to do gtk or icon themes.

A mock-up would be nice, but please at least give some sort of sketch to show what you want.

THIS IS NOT A HELP GROUP!!!

yeah, I guess.
So far there hasn't been a "complete" theme made for that one.

Yours is good, luxie, but is doesn't have pre-light yet. Should we do that? and maybe make it without pixmap? It is kind of slow, at least for me.

By the way luxie, I don't know how you figured that overlapping thing out :D

I saw a theme that was an emerald one, modified it, but have since switched back to metacity and could never make the theme look right under metacity, could someone port this emerald theme to metacity?

We can try, but the buttons will be on right, if you want I could tell you how to put them on the left

I think I can edit a metacity theme to have the buttons on the left :D

Have done it before and it's a simple theme with no complicated backgrounds so I should be able to cope with switching the buttons over, I'll even make the changes and send it back as an additional download for the theme so the user can pick left or right side buttons?

Many thanks!

Yeah there is, I use it currently. But I didn't know you couldn't specify the side it's on at the theme level.

I am more than confident about changing it manually in my gconf settings.
