Changelog:

ATTENTION BIG CHANGES

The biggest change in this release is how you compile / execute the program. These changes have been made to end a number of bugs attributed to improper installation files used by the application.

So after get the source and unpack ... run in console:

qmake or qmake-qt4 2ManDVD.pro 2ManDVD.pro (on fedora)
make

and finally:

sudo make install

And I stress the make install (as root)

Then you can start the application from your main menu (kde & gnome tested)

Yes you need absolutely qt4.6...

But you can download it and install it in your user profile with trolltech site.

Can you please rename the tarball to 1.3_rc3 or similar?

Because if you don't, the checksum (filesize) changes, e.g. md5sum and breaks the installation from package managers like Portage (Gentoo)

Yes i could but no ... It's a rc so don't package it ... the final will be releas as soon as possible....

It would be really nice to have the possibility of setting the dvd maximum size because after more than 2 hours, I've discovered that with 5000 kbps the dvd was 4.8 gb, which is more than a normal dvd

2ManDVD can't decide for you to update the bitrate ... I can add an message box to tell you that you have exced the dvd size... but that all ... Is this that you want ?

That would be good, but I think it would be even better if 2mandvd could let you choose the size (4.7gb or 8.5gb) and then on this base calculate the appropriate bitrate, leaving about 200mb for audio usually

Can someone create deb packages for (k) ubuntu / debian?

Or can someone tell how to make deb packages from a xxxxx.pro file? I tried with checkinstall, but it didn't work..

You need qt4.6 developpement packages
after in 2ManDVD directory

qmake-qt4 2ManDVD.pro
make

To launch use what i explain on the project description and don't forget the -graphicsystem raster ...

I dlike to ask how to compile 2mandvd with prefix /usr/local, or others. Now 2mandvd is always being compilated in to directory with sources.
