Description:

Based on the amazing Elementary Theme by DanRabbit
http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Elementary+Desktop+Project?content=79428 this time for emerald with gtk-ish look. Comments are very welcome.

Changelog:

0.7.2 - First release, done with legacy engine, just to have more native gtk look

0.7.2.1 - Changed to "vrunner" engine, thought it looks better. The font used in is Linux Libertine.

0.7.3 - Some tweaks and little shadows added.

0.7.3.1 - Shadow fix

0.9.6 - Minor fixes, changed the title font to Sans bold 8, suggested fonts for desktop and apps is Sans 8 regular.

0.9.9 - Updated to the current eGTK theme and some tweaks.

0.9.9.1 - fixed bug with the shadow

1.1 - Merged with the new elementary metacity, fixes around frames, colours and the titlebar.

1.1.2 - Fixed order of normal-hover-pressed of the buttons, make the titlebar look more elementary with the colours and removing the app. icon.

Thanks, for the fast response :). Nice theme, but your font doesn't quite match ;-). In the mean time I modified an existing emerald theme, which you can also find on gnome-look.

it is gmusicbrowser :) with theme that i made
you can find it here: http://squentin.free.fr/gmusicbrowser/gmusicbrowser.html and if you are under debian/ubuntu just add the repo @ the download page. I think it's a lot better than the others players, coz it can handle for me a music library with more of 15 000 songs :)

 Shutdown

What's that icon in the lower left corner, is it a shutdown screenlet or something?

I need an icon like this now that I only use Gnome-Do/Dockey and don't have a panel anymore. I've been opening the terminal and typing my password to shutdown for a week and it's getting boring lol

something like that ;) it's the logout/shutdown applet of cairo-dock, just separated from the dock. if you want, you can try my cairo-dock-theme with some tweaks here:

 maximize?!

 by molecule-eye on: Jan 3 2010

Score 50%

It's impossible to configure the titlebar so that a MAXIMIZE button shows up. E.g. using "NXC" for "Minimize, Maximize, Close" I get "Minimize, Shade, Window Menu" on an unmaximized window!

Super lame!

I guess it was Emerald on my system causing a stink, because it works now. But besides having antialiased corners, I prefer the metacity decoration over yours. The buttons in your theme looked washed out while they're more prominent in the metacity theme. Also the windows look really flat in this theme, and they stand out a bit more in the metacity one (due to the way shadows are drawn). Anyway, just my opinion!
