 Cool xine-player

I really like Kaffeine and the new version adds some really nice features. I use Kaffeine to play my m4a-Files (I've ripped all my CDs with iTunes) in Linux, because xmms can't play them. What I would really appreciate : the possibility to play files in the playlist in random order...

Sorry, it works. I searched the feature in the playlist window, not in the main window *g*

 Excellent!

Finally a media player that does what I want it to do. Here is a list of the things I like about Kaffeine.

- Dropping new videos onto it play right away instead of queuing.
- Dropping new videos onto it doesn't change the size of the window or the location.
- Middle clicking allows me to jump anywhere in the video stream instead of dragging the slider. Left clicking would be better but this still beats the hell out of grabbing the slider and dragging it everytime I want to jump around in a video.
- Simple to use and everything is organized logially.

Thanks for the great xine ui :)

Another great feature, middle clicking on additional videos plays it in the existing player instead of launching more copies of the player.

The Help file says "You can overwrite xine configuration with command line switches. Use for example 'kaffeine -a arts' to set audio driver or 'kaffeine -x xv' to set video driver."
