Description:

This engine is for use by GTK applications running in KDE. It applies all Qt settings to the GTK application and uses Qt style plugins directly.

  • Ported the theme engine to Qt4. Qt3 styles are no longer supported in this version - this is only for users who have upgraded to KDE4 or who want to use Oxygen in their GTK applications.

    I wish there was something opposite as there are many more cool style engines in GTK than in QT.

    After compiling and installing, the "GTK Styles and Fonts" option appears twice in the Control Center menu list.

    'make install' installs /usr/share/applications/kcmgtk-xdg.desktop and /usr/share/applnk/Settings/LookNFeel/kcmgtk.desktop, which are both shown in Control Center. Removing any which one of these solves the problem.

    I am using KDE 3.5.3.

     Incorrect scrollbars

    First off let me say thanks for this. I use Eclipse a lot so this engine is great. I've been using the Domino theme lately, and it has a small problems. The tops and bottoms of the scrollbar are screwed up. It looks like it can't find a pixmap, or something along those lines. Any idea how to fix that?
