Description:

This theme is designed to allow for easy customization by a tinkerer. It includes a preprocessor script which allows the user to easily customize the appearance of one of the built-in templates. By editing a few key values about brightness and contrast, the preprocessor performs a series of calculations and builds a new theme. (which you can still edit manually).

To run the preprocessor, go to the folder where this theme is stored (usually ~/.themes/Duality) and run `./customize-gui.rb` You must have Ruby installed, along with the gnome bindings (ruby-gnome2) to run the customization scripts. On Ubuntu, this can be done with the command:

sudo apt-get install ruby ruby-gnome2

To use the built-in templates, you will need the Aurora, Equinox, and Murrine theme engines.

Bug reports or suggestions are always welcome.

The themes generated by this preprocessor and default templates work well with the Gnome2 Global Menu Bar project.

Glad you like it. The font is called Legacy Sans. Unfortunately, its neither free as in speech, nor free as in beer.

Ah, that's alright. I might get it eventually. I am currently using MgOpen Cosmetica. This and your font are part of a group of font types called "Humanist" fonts, and they are my favorite.

How did you get the small caps look for the window title? Is that part of the font, or is that an effect or something?

Finding free small caps fonts is painful. I might venture into making one. Ah well, guess it's time to google...

Nice theme/script, still digging the last as Ruby is not something I'm that proficient now.

One question, is possible to you to share or indicate where your wallpaper can be found?

My wallpaper is a picture of the horsehead nebula that I tried to clean up a little. I've uploaded it here:

Thank you! One of the most amazing pictures I ever see.

I noted that you retouched it a bit (compared with what I had already downloaded from astronomy sites) and that is way I asked for it, your were a lot superior. Great job!
