Description:

A gnome applet to easily manage devices on your gnome desktop. (based on ejecter 0.0.9 project)

Features:
* Easily manage disk and devices on your system
* Nice user intereface
* Support notifications
* Support actions on devices
* Network devices support(ie. smb share)

About this version:
* media-applet can run either as a normal application (with an icon in the notification area) or as an applet
* Unmount all partitions of a removable device with one click
* File Monitor: update the size and free space of a device dinamically
* Better notification system: you can enable/disable notifications (and notifications actions) using the gconf keys (/apps/media-applet/show_notifications and apps/media-applet/show_actions). Notification messages look also more human :)
* "Open with Nautilus" as default action: clicking on each device will always open a new nautilus window for it
* bug fixing: #323813,#318254,#317856 and others
* media-applet is translated in 17 languages
* Updated to vala 0.5.7

Which version of vala do you use?
new version works fine only with vala 0.5.7

when i try to use thi applet it popup this error "Il pannello ha riscontrato un problema durante il caricamento di «OAFIID:GNOME_Media_Applet».", and i don't know how to do to make it work....i tried to install it from the source but i got this error "Checking for package hal: not found
pkg-config cannot find hal"....Any help!!!
