Submitted:  Nov 17 2008
Updated:  Dec 2 2008

Description:

A new version of my "Metallico" themes that brings a bi-color window frame inspired by Dust theme. It resolves also the wrong colors in firefox and openoffice windows. It uses the last version of Murrine engine.

Changelog:

1.2 Little color corrections in menus and tooltip.

1.1 Color correction in gnome-panel.

1.0 Initial version

(also means cool in italian)
i like this theme.
but the taskbar color doesn't seam that looks good with the window border, it'a bit to dark. Can be a solution making it the same color as the window?

kindly

Thanks!
What do you mean for taskbar? the gnome-panel or only the window selector of gnome-panel? I'll correct this if I can!
However I use a trasparent gnome panel.

Hi!
I mean for the gnome panels.
I have another annoying bug:
sometimes the windows are badly rendered, having a sort of gray bar over... see my screen here

bye

1) I don't know the cause of the bad rendering of windows frame. Peraphs it could depend by the compiz (and gtk-window-decorator) version in use. I use Compiz 0.7.8 from Ubuntu Intrepid.

2) I'll correct any problem with gnome-panel in the next version of this theme that I'll prepare using an opaque panel.

Thanks a lot for these suggestions.
(and sorry for my english!)

 Do I need an engine...?

I'm trying to use this in Arch but, like ALL of the Dust themes, it doesn't appear to work. Is there some engine I need or a version or something I need for it?

Sorry, I made this theme in Ubuntu, that has the latest murrine engine in its repositories. You need version 0.60.
