Description:

Displays synchronous lyrics of the current track in Amarok on the Logitech G15 keyboard.

Because i have now 2 Plugins for Amarok to get something on my keyboard, I start the g15daemon with switch -c . So i can switch easily between booth plugins by pressing the MR key. That seems to me more comfortable.

You can add your lyrics to http://www.lrcdb.org to get them on your G15.

Plz report about wishes and problems. There might be still some bugs in the script. Feel free to help me get them out. I think, there will be serveral minor releases in the next weeks 'cause these little bugs can only be find through long-term testing. You may consider the use of the subscription function.

If something got wrong, just restart the plugin, or amarok.

Hope you enjoy it! Greets saLOUtions

Sometimes the g15composer instance (Plugin-window in the lcd) seems to crash...

Workaround:
I go to the Script Management and restart the Plugin...

Unfortunately I couldn't get out the problem yet.

Result after longtime-testing:

The PlugIn seems to be more stable as expected. I do NOT register any crashes for the last month.

Would it be possible to use lyrics that Amarok has already located/cached using whatever lyrics script is running?

I use LyricWiki, and find it very diverse and accurate, but these lyrics can't be shown on my G15. :(

I use lrcdb.org, because it provides the songtext in .lrc format (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LRC_(file_format) )

I dont know. Does lyricwiki provide time information or support .lrc files in any way?

I think, it don't.

Ah-Ha! I see.
I hadn't considered that You were syncing the lyrics with the song.
No, I don't think LyricWiki would have LRC files.
Thanks for the reply/explanation. :)
