Description:

Xcur2png is a program which let you take PNG images from X cursor, and generate config-file which is reusable by xcursorgen. To put it simply, it is converter from X cursor to PNG image.
You can modify existing X cursor by using xcur2png with xcursorgen.

usage examples:
1. Show hidden cursor in GNOME Appearance Preferences.

2. Change the color of existent cursor.

As far as I can tell this is the only application in existence that allows you to preview the idiotic Xcursor format.

Sure, having to run a command line tool to convert the theme into another format just to see what it looks like is pathetically inconvenient compared to any other operating system ever conceived but at least your utility makes it actually possible.

You should pat yourself on the back for being vastly more intelligent than anyone else who has ever had anything to do with the ridiculous one-way imaging format that is Xcursor.

I'm not sure how you managed to be immune to the common-sense sapping radiation emitted by this format, but you're clearly a superman among chimps!
