Metacity Theme

Description:

A port of my Playstation Emerald theme by popular request - now you can actually run this theme on a Playstation!!

This is my first metacity theme. It was fun (and a bit of a pain at times!) learning how to build metacity themes, and I'm sure that I can make a lot of improvements on this theme, so there should be a few more updates to come.

Hope you enjoy it - any feedback or comments are welcome.

DAZ

Changelog:

v0.5 - initial release
v0.6 - Added a border around the whole window and around the content. Made a few adjustments to some of the widths. Added a horizontal 'notch' to the titlebar.

I'll certainly have a go at making a thinner version when I've finished this one. Have you got any ideas about what sort of dimensions you'd like?

 Maximize

Could you swap the square and triangle buttons round? The square looks more like a maximized window and if the triangle was in the right orientation it would look like a minimize arrow.

That's exactly the first thing I thought when I saw the screenshot.
Anyway I suppose you could simply rename the image files containing the art for the buttons and switch their names

Thanks for all the feedback. I will be coming back to this theme soon and hopefully implement a few of the changes suggested and also some other improvements to make this theme even better.

cheers,

DAZ

I registered just to comment. this met.thme is awesome. i do want to suggest perhaps making the header a bit thinner and buttons "Glow" rather than reflect light when you press them. it would look better.
