 source code

Unfortunately, the source code is neither here nor on your website. It seems therefore, that you are infringing GNU GPL, unless it is published somewhere else.

It would be nice to see the source code here or a link

Even though, if he wrote the app from scratch, he is not violating any license because he owns the code.

I would infridge the GPL, because QT is gpl, i would have to pay to be able to write a closed source app.
Glad you found the sourcecode (well, actualy kinda hard to miss with the hugs "Source" tab) on the page

Hello,
The tools sounds very useful for me. But I am using Opensuse, and so I need an .rpm file.. atleast me, as newbie. Is there a possiblility to create an rpm from the programm - or even better put the programm on the opensuse build server?

Greeting from Germany - Euro-campion 2008 ;-)

Hi,

sorry, i don't have suse and i'm not familiar with their build system, but if anybody knows it, i would be more than happy to distribute the rpm for suse.

Actualy compiling the app is very easy. You have to get the source with svn (on the webpage there is the exact instruction for it), then execute qmake-qt4 (or simply qmake, depends on suse), make release and make install. very easy, you just need the qt4 developement files.

Hi,
You have to dowload the source from svn. But don't worry, it's very easy. You find the instructions here:
http://code.google.com/p/printruler/source/checkout

Any patches are welcome by the way

Hello!

The actual provides Ubuntu-package has had a problem with newer Ubuntu versions.

I could solve this by compiling it from source.

As the author stated above it is really very easy to compile.

currently i don't develop this application anymore. It should compile fine and work, but i don't use it myself, so i'm not really interested in developing it anymore...

if anybody wants to develop for it, leave me a message and i can give you svn access.
