Description:

Following the "Crunchy Branch Animated" script and adding some effects based on the "Fretstak" and "Crunchy Branch" wallpapers, this wallpaper simulates the Morning to Night process by tracking your local time.

Untar the file into your Pictures folder. then, double click or execute the "install" script using "sh ./install" (thanks to brenan99 for the script). After that, select the XML file as wallpaper.

Changelog:

1.1 The images have been changed to JPG, therefore the size of the main file has decreased from 8MB to 1MB. brenan99's script has been added.

1.2 Thanks to "masy" for uploading the wallpaper in a new location (Since Mega-upload went down) and also for the directions on how to install on Ubuntu.

Hi,

Make sure that the path is exactly the same in your XML file, remember that Unix is case sensitive so, if your path has any capital letter you must type the same in the XML file.

i checked the paths in a terminal by using gthumb to view the images and it's correct. I've tried copying the folder to /usr/share/backgrounds/ and again adjust the xml but still nothing. Do i need a special package to view this wallpaper?

 Question

Hi,

What is the time format of this
10800 , 18000?? min, hour, second?

Thanks.

And, another question:

It's 00:53 in France, and the background N°8 has disappeared.
For give place at a blank wallpaper.

On Fedora, and Debian..

Why?

Linux? y a moins bien, mais c'est plus cher..

awesome wallpaper...ive been looking for something like this forever.

just one question...can you use it with desktop drapes? I couldn't add to regular wallpaper window using the browser because it only looks for pictures, so i had to drag and drop it in, but that worked fine...however, i like to use desktop drapes and i cant drag and drop the xml into that menu.
