Description:

This is a simple widget theme for those folks out there who aren't into shiny fancy 3d stuff and all that hoo-ha.

It's based loosly on fake screenshots of BeOS r6 which circulated a while back -- it was called "Gonx", so that's the basis of this style's name. The screenshots were fake, but they looked good.

Also, I based this on the excellent dotNET style. Thanks to Chris Lee!

Nothing yet, first release

 can't get it to work

Hey there, I liked the look of this, so I tried it out. I did the configure/make/make install, and then went to the Mandrake Control Center and chose the Gonx style. My screen flashed, but nothing changed... ??? Any suggestions?

Zakariya here (too lazy to log in)

I use slackware, so I'm not 100% certain what could be going on. If i recall correctly, Mandrake is redhat based, right? Redhat does things... oddly. The install instructions in the README cover Mandrake installation, but I snagged them from dotNET's README.

Sounds like you have to do a
./configure --prefix=/usr or something like that.

... or you could use slack ;)

I use Mandrake 8.1. MDK puts KDE stuff in /usr rather than /opt so you need to do the --prefix=/usr when you ./configure. Other than that it works perfectly.

I can't get it to work either...

Sorry, I'm so wet behind the ears I have to wear a towel round my neck. I've got Mandrake 8.1, I did what the install told me to do, it all went well till it said sumthink like "x path incorrect" I have no clue what that means.

Maybe I should shoot myself...
