 Folders...

I really really really like your icons, man. I really do. *BUT* I just installed the 1.1 version, and was saddened by the floder icon change back to an M$ style icon. I really liked the TOTAL change of pace with the cabinet one that you made. I thought that was a lot better descriptor of what a directory is. A File cabinet has multiple drawers that hold many smaller things. That what a directory is.

Anyway, I just thought I'd voice that small little opinion. :-)

Thank you for the icons!

 Reasons for folder

Hi, first thanks for your support :)
I liked the drawers aswell, I think they are a much better metaphor. However, I just couldnt make a decent 16x16 drawer, they looked terrible.

The other reason is it wasnt very easy to place images on top of them, (for the content themed drawers), there just wasnt enough room to work with.

The drawers (and the original folders aswell) are still included in the theme though, Theres alot of choice for the 'folder' in this theme.
By selecting "Edit Filetype" from the context menu you can choose from about 4 different 'folder' styles. :)

thx for the new Release; together with iKons the only useable and impressive icon-Theme for KDE I've found so far.
Just switched the Drawer Icons back to their last incarnation, now if they just could have that light blue from that new Style it would be perfect.
really, really like that Theme,

keep up the great work

Can someone hold my hand through this? I don't know what AMi means by "Edit Flietype fromt the context menu". Where is the "context menu" he speaks of?

Thanx!

1. Find a folder.. any folder will do..
2. Click the right mouse button on the folder.
3. Select "Edit FileType" from the menu
4. In the dialog that pops up, Click on the button with the folder icon in it.
5. Select "Filesystems" from the combo box on the right in the choose icon dialog.

here you will find the various 'folder' options

Amibug: A great improvement. The toolbar icons look much more "together" now. Good job.

 Visualprefs - green

by Amibug on: Feb 18 2002

The window style is called "VisualPrefs - Green"

It is available on this site under Windows Decorations > IceWM

if you want the titlebar centered like in the screenshot then uncomment "TitleBarCentered=1", In the default.theme file.
