Description:

Fotowall is a fun tool for creating graphics by mixing some of your favorite pictures in a nice and smooth high resolution composition.

Check out the new homepage on:
http://www.enricoros.com/opensource/fotowall/

The interface is intuitive:
- just push the 'help' or 'tutorial' buttons to get started

To build from source (make sure that Qt 4.5+ development packages are installed):
- download
- unpack (tar xjpvf Fotowall-0.9.tar.bz2)
- cd fotowall-0.9
- qmake-qt4 or qmake (this depends on your linux distribution. we depend on Qt 4.5+)
- make
- make install (or "cp fotowall /usr/local/bin")
and to execute, just type "fotowall".

PosteRazor is IN!. Thanks to Alessandro Portale and to the good framework (Qt4, by QtSoftware) we're using, it was possible to merge the 2 stunning Fotowall and PosteRazor opensource projects into 1 useful program!
Good done, opensource ;-)

Many thanks to all the people that contribute to FotoWall, expecially to Tanguy Arnaud and Alessandro Portale.

 Problems, problems

Compiled without a hitch on Kubuntu 7.10. Having some problems, though. I can change the background colors (neat, btw!), I can drag in photos, I can caption photos and insert the title, but I can't resize or rotate photos (with the green and red buttons). Unfortunately, when running fotowall from the terminal, there is no debug output for me to give you! I'd like to help in whatever way I can, but you might have to hold my hand through it :)

best regards-
p.daniels

Hello

I really love your app. There are a few suggestions:

- Different Borders (including no borders)
- Title place anywhere
- Possibility to use picture as background
- Choose font type size and colour
- Possibility to add watermark effect to fotos
- ...

I agree to what MayC23 suggested.

I would also like to add another request:
Layer options (so that you can decide which picture should be on top etc.)

I'm running Kubuntu 7.10 and everything works, including the red and green dots.
However, there's still one thing that I can't get to work: the function for the mouse wheel?
I've tried clicking it (the wheel) and using the scroll, nothing happens.

Hopefully the above suggestions for a future release will make everything slighty better ;)
I'll definitely keep my eyes open for the 0.3 release!!

This is a great program, please keep up the good work mate :)
Thanks a lot!
