The program is interesting. Maybe really a good application to clear own thoughts!

For non english wikipedias I wish for a function that indywikia will remember an already chosen language for the next time.

 Wrong Category?

Should this really be in the "KDE Education" category?

WIkipedia is not a reliable source of anything but merely a posting place for personal opinion. All you need is a link to another unverifiable source in order to get your propaganda included there.

Who is expected to be educated with unverifiable information and disorganized mayhem?

Maybe this should be moved to "Other Software".

 wikipedia reliabilit

leviathan,

This is your PERSONAL opinion. I strongly disagree, that wikipedia is an unreliable source. I can also point you to scientific publications that show wikipedia's reliability. And also I have contacted people from kde-apps and they suggested that KDE education is the best place for indywiki project.

regards

Wikipedia is NOT a reliable nor scientific source. It is not accredited by anyone or any agency. This is typical Wikipedia user mentality to cite bogus and unverified "studies" to bolster the claims of bogus and unverified "articles". It's circular logic.

Wikipedia demonstrates a pattern of sloppiness, indifference to basic scholarly standards, and flagrant errors so numerous that it completely invalidates its "supposed" information.

By the way, before mgogoulos comes back and cites the same old inaccurate study by "Nature Science Journal" that all Wikipedia apologists bring up, take a look at this 20 page report refuting it's findings: http://www.wikipedia-watch.org/refute.pdf

Then go look at this site that has recorded just a small percentage of the vandalism that takes place daily on wikipedia. http://www.wikipedia-watch.org/vandals.html

Then maybe you should call John Seigenthaler Sr. or a thousand other victims and ask them about Wikipedia accuracy.

Yeah, real educational. We should get this into the the minds of school children right away.

 of course unreliable

Everyone questions relevancy of search results given by Google yet everyone uses it and creates applications using it. Let us write applications and leave judgments up to their users.

Anyway, I would put indywiki into the category Office | Text Processing where other readers reside.

What a ridiculous arguement. That is like comparing apples and oranges. Google is a search engine that looks for keywords. It doesn't make factual findings or validate the accuracy of websites it indexes. It is a search tool only.

Wikipedia pretends to be an encyclopedia but it is ANYTHING BUT ACCURATE.

Using phrases like "everyone" does this or "everyone" does that is what even wikipedia calls "Weasel Words."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weasel_words

With people like you reading and writing at wikipedia, it is clear why it will never be a valid source of information.
