Description:

Maybe someone agrees that the snow plugin can be used for many things, not only for snow but for falling leafs or anything else.

So I wondered if it could be possible to combine specified graphics (like raindrops, snowflakes, leafs, clouds an any other part of the weather) with a plugin that takes weather data and shows them on the desktop as glowing sun, falling rain and so on. This is surely not easy to create but it's one of numerous plugins with a wionderful effects.

Sorry for no screenshot. I'm not a very gifted artist. (The download is only a textfile with my description)

I'd like you to comment on this!

I started thinking about exactly the same idea once topic was read.

Imagine desktop that changes itself (like background or clouds come out to the scene , rain starts, etc.) depending on weather condition "outside" (according to configuration).

That is right what I thought of...on one of these video-clip sites there is a Beryl desktop with a dark colored wallpaper showing a lonesome tree on a hillside with red gradient sky and falling leafs which are drifting from one side of the screen to the other. This looks beautiful and it gave me the inspiration that desktop should adapt itself to daytime, current weather and so on.

If you once saw the nature of things, they become calculable...

You idea sound great, I think someone should make that addon. I would be one of the first to use it.
