hi

- add toolbar with common used actions such as qmake&make (why they separated?), exec and other (to increment usability)
- add tools manager with standart and custom programs and their pathes (to fix some win32 path incompatibles)

Thanks for your suggestions.
I will expand the toolbar in the coming versions, and will move toward making it customizable. Does anyone know of a pre-existing Qt tool for customizing shortcuts/icons/toolbars in an app?

Regarding your second point, I agree that the current settings dialog leaves a lot to be desired, so I will try to improve this in 0.2.

Cheers

i thik "Source download" link means "tarball with sources inside"
why i must to download 2Mb win32 binaries with sources?!

can you separate your "sources" into two different tarballs: "win32 binaries" and "win32/linux sources"?

I apologize for your loss of data. Starting from next release, HaiQ will only auto-save source (.h and .cpp) files on compile (not .pro).

I'm confused on how you lost multiple files, though, can you explain in more detail what happened?

 dll entrypoint

Hi,

when I try to start HaiQ it aborts with following error message: 'Entrypoint not found - Procedure entrypoint in "QtAssistanClient4.dll" not found' (i don't know if this is the same message you would get in English, i just translated it...)

I'm using Qt 4.3 and im not quite sure what I'm doing wrong (I could not compile the source either). Any idea?

Perhaps it is using dlls from a previous version of Qt somehow, or maybe not finding QtAssistantClient4.dll...

One way to make sure that it is seeing the correct .dll files is to temporarily copy all of the latest 4.3 .dll files into the HaiQ directory (Including QtAssistantClient4.dll).

If you do that and it still does not work, email me directly: Jeremy dot Magland at gmail dot com.

Thanks!
JM

 3rdparty apps

Hi, I am Michele!
I've tried to use Haiq on linux (in particular I am using a preview of 0.3).
It builds without errors, but now the main problem is that it doesn't find astyle, dot, etc.
On my box these apps are installed in the PATH.
Can you solve this problem?
Thanx!

Thanks to magland I've solved: it's enough to use the full path of the apps.
