Description:

SplitUI is a tool which extends the functionality of Qt's uic. It splits the compiled ui file (the header file) into a header file and a cpp file, which can save a lot of time, especially under Windows with MinGW.

For more information, see http://michal.tomlein.googlepages.com/splitui.

Changelog:

SplitUI 0.3
* added support for the "-o" (output) parameter
SplitUI 0.2
* SplitUI can now modify project files
* several bug-fixes

 Why the change

Hi,
I would like to apologise to Vovanec, the creator of the ui2cpp wizard. I chose the same name for this little programme, not knowing about the existence of Vovanec's programme.
I only noticed it a couple of minutes ago and decided to change it immediately to prevent confusion.
Luckily, there has only been one download (the counter says 2, but the first was me testing the link :-)).
Well, enjoy, and don't forget to have a look at Vovanec's project, it's very good.

Thanks for your care! :) It would be not
good if two programs had the same names :))
I tried splitui utility and found that it
may be very useful in some cases.
But... One issue I see -
when I'm trying to run it without
arguments it shows help and then segfaults. I fixed it by adding return
statement when application does not receive any argument:

if (app.arguments().count() <= 1) {
cout << "Usage: splitui <class_name>.ui" << endl;
return -1; //add this
} else {.....}

Best,
vovanec

Thanks, I originally wanted to add that return statement, but sometimes I easily get distracted and tend to forget things. :-)
Anyway, normally nothing should happen, because SplitUI is supposed to be called automatically by the maketool with the argument specified.
