 Czech translation

Score 50%

those interested in Czech translation of Qmmp 0.1.3.1 can take a look at http://l10n.cz/kavol?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=qmmp-0.1.3.1-cs.tar.bz2

- just untar over the sources, then recompile

unfortunately that wiki was reworked and the file lost ... more "permanent" links:

Czech translation: http://sn.bluehost.cz/tmp/qmmp-0.1.3.1-cs.tar.bz2

Improved Fedora spec: http://sn.bluehost.cz/tmp/qmmp.spec

Fedora 7 SRPM: http://sn.bluehost.cz/tmp/qmmp-0.1.3.1-2.fc7.src.rpm

Fedora 7 RPM for x86_64: http://sn.bluehost.cz/tmp/qmmp-0.1.3.1-2.fc7.x86_64.rpm

note - these packages violate Fedora "no-mp3" policy, you have to install ffmpeg and libmad (from Livna) to get it working; if you want "pure" Fedora package, try this: http://sn.bluehost.cz/tmp/no-mp3/qmmp-0.1.3.1-2.fc7.src.rpm

1. Try to use cmake instead qmake.
2. Check pkgconfig file: /usr/lib/pkgconfig/taglib.pc
3. Check pkgconfig is installed.

 Cannot play mp3

by zly on: Oct 11 2007

Score 50%

Hi,

Compiled without JACK and FLAC support.
Happens in both 0.1.4 and svn (2007-10-11, rev. 167)

At startup, everything seems fine:
./qmmp_launcher

Setting LD_LIBRARY_PATH to ./../lib:
./../lib:
binded
Output: plugin loaded - libalsa.so
OutputALSA: setupMixer()
OutputALSA: setupMixer() succes
Decoder: plugin loaded - libffmpeg.so
Decoder: plugin loaded - libmad.so
Decoder: plugin loaded - libmpc.so
Decoder: plugin loaded - libvorbis.so
SoundCore: creating decoder
ok

I can load and play ogg files.
I can load mp3 files, but on play, qmmp crashes:
./qmmp: symbol lookup error: /home/zly/Desktop/qmmp/lib/qmmp/Input/libmad.so: undefined symbol: mad_stream_init

Installed versions:
mad-0.15.1b-32.1
libmad-0.15.1b-2.2
libmad-devel-0.15.1b-2.2
ffmpeg-0.4.9-8.pm.svn20070902
libffmpeg0-0.4.9-8.pm.svn20070902
libffmpeg0-devel-0.4.9-8.pm.svn20070902

Dist: openSUSE 10.2 x86

try to edit mad.pro:

- PKGCONFIG += taglib mad
+ PKGCONFIG += taglib libmad
or
- LIBS += -lqmmp
+ LIBS += -lqmmp -lmad

Looks pretty good. Is cuesheet support planned in close future? Its lack in most *nix-players drives me mad (-:E

Qmmp doesn't support windows, because it has not output plugin for windows and contains some unix specific code.
