Description:

IceQua is a nice Aqua-style theme. It is not meant to be an Aqua lookalike, but just a theme utilizing aqua elements. It is clean, easy to use, and bright.

Changelog:

Fixed Top element to not show space in KWin. However, there seems to be incompatibility with KWin. Bottom elements might show space. Probably have to file a bug with them.

CornerSizeX=15
CornerSizeY=15

Those elements seem to not be compatible with their IceWM counterparts.

Hi. Thanks. I suppose it is possbile. I like the squarish look, but if you want, you can do this with the border (ATL and ATR frame elements), but that would only give you 3 pixels to work with. To make it roundish, you might need to make the border thicker...

 Rounded corners

Unfortunatly it's not that easy. Wherever you use transparency, the KDE IceWM engine will fill it with random junk. You can't simply leave "holes" in the decoration - thus no rounded corners are possible, even with the help of the outer frames.

But Wolfgang Römer provided a patch that enables rounded corners with KDE's IceWM decorations. Have a look at http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=4830
for more information.

Font is SNAP from Artwiz. It's included in the theme snap.pcf.gz. default.theme lists the directions for installing it.

 Problems

Hi!

The window decoration ist really good looking, but unfortunately it is a little bit broken, when I use it on my machine.
On top of the buttons (to the right and to the left) there is a tiny freespace area.
When the openend window is maximized you see the free spaces on both sides and when you scale it a little bit smaller there is only a freespace on top of the right windowbutton side.
First I thought it is caused by the wrong user rights, though I changed them in the right way. But - it didn't work. Then I thought that the file is corrupted and I downloaded it again. But I got the same strange freespace above. the right and left buttons. What is the reason?

I want this decoration to run properly because it is really the best I saw untill now.

Hi. I am aware of this problem. You are not running ICEWM but Native KDE window manager? It seems that native KDE does not interpret a command in default.theme correctly. I will try to come up with a way to fix this weekend.

If you could provide a screenshot, that would be great. I don't have native at the moment, so can't test, but this is related to the pixel value for resize in IceWM. Seems that value is reinterpret to mean the size of top element.

Try to run IceWM and see if the problem persists. I also recommend using CVS icewm because it has the fixes for Rolled up windows. There might be an issue with rolled up windows looking like some pixels are gone. CVS (after 1.2.7) fixes those issues. i'll try to fix the issue you're having too.

Right now i am not at home, so that i will provide a screenshot later (perhap on monday or already sunday evening. But it is true. I used this decoration under native kde, but with the described problems.
It would be nice if you could provide a working version of your marvelous window decoration.
THX

I fixed the top elements a little bit. Hopefully this might help. However, I think that there seems to be incompatibility between KWin and IceWM. Probably would have to file a bug with them.

Thank you, I sent you an email and hopefully once we resolve (if we can) the issues, we can include a KWin specific version...

That's IceWM's panel. Usually, if you have KDE panel, you don't use ICE's. I am using Ice's sometimes, so I turned off KDE one.
