Description:

This is a revamp of my first icon theme nuoveXT.

Hope you like it ;-)

Constructive feedbacks are, as always, welcome.

For those who want to know, here's the info about the second screenshot:

there are some things that the nuove icon set can learn from the tango project, i.e. the object outline.

Love it.

However, I can't find the hard drive icons that are shown in the screenie, the Windows and Apple ones. I also can't find the "scalable" folder.

All the same I love it

Great job again! I really like this theme.

Yet there are some things I think are better in NuoveXT 1.6! For example the icons used for the different .txt-Documents or archive packages were nicer in the previous version (those showing, what kind of file it actually is - like TGZ or ODT).

But actually this is one of the very best icon themes available for Gnome.

I agree with you totally, I used the original nuovext icons because it has one of the most complete and attractive sets of mimetype icons around but the 2 version seems to have lost this. At the moment I have just copied the 1.6 mimetype icons into the 2 theme but please improve in this area.

One other comment, I don't really like the new Evolution icon as it just appears to be another copy of the Apple Mail icon. One of the things I really appreciate about this theme is it's not trying to imitate another OS, it's just being itself so don't lose that.

Other than that, excellent, keep up the good work.

How can I choose which icon theme should be used if the icon doesn't exist (is not defined) in my current theme?
