Description:

t was april 2002 when I first started designing a little 48x48 icon and published it at kde-look.org.
It was an alternative “trashcan" for KDE 2. Since then I’ve continued designing icons and started many themes to increase my skills and improve design quality, these were: "Desktop icons", "Sky", "Lush" and finally "Nuvola".

It tooks me more than a year to reach version 1, the more professional, consistent and complete Nuvola theme ever released, it will turn your KDE in an eyecandy colourful desktop.

If you never tryed Nuvola what are you waiting? give it a try! For the others waiting this release since a long time… download Nuvola 1.0 now!

That's the message I get when I try to install it.

I've KDE 3.2.1

That's something wrong with the tarball or what?

the problem is the theme configuration file is changed from version 3.2, I'll post a fix tomorrow, need to do some tryies. sorry for the problem.

i had the same prob., the nuvola.tgz is missing index.desktop., you can copy this file from your other downloaded icons to nuvola.tgz just change the name to nuvola (name=nuvola).

extract first the file to copy the index.desktop and run 'ark' and drag the extracted file to it. say name the file nuvola_new.tar.gz

one of you using kde-3.1.x can please contact me! I'm using kde 3.2 on all my machines and I can't check if including both configurations for kde 3.2 and 3.1 works

I agree, this is really a set of VERY good looking icons.

There is only one small detail that perhaps could be enhanced: the shape of the rounded arrow of the "Reply-to-mailinglist" icon for KMail is very different from the other "reply..." icons.

Do you think you could use the same, clear arrow shape here? (the one with the white outline surrounded by a thin blue outline)

I might be wrong, but IMhO this would look better together with the other icons.

But still: This icon set is GREAT and I thank you very much for it.
