Icon size depends on number of files CWD

Description:

Hello,

I'm no sure wheter it's an good idea or not, just a thought.

If I use konqueror and work in a directory with just some files (dirs also), I like the icons to be _huge_. The window has a certain size, so why not use it with bigger icons? (Besides, the icons look so damn nice)

But if there are a lot of files, make the icons smaller, so you can see more of them.

Using some deliberate limits for the max and min size of the icons would be fine.

What do you think?

but i for myself like a straight UI... i hate it in windows/mac os x when the viewtype changes in each folder....

i even don't like the many edges kde has at the moment (there have been some great mockups here on kde-look)
but ok, thats another story =)

i think the list view in mac os x iss really nice...

OK as an option.

I would prefer a zoom in/out thing as there is in web-mode to show the icons the size I like them to be, and a moose weel to zoom in/out very quick (perhaps whith a alt or ctrl key hold ?)

You can already make the icons in konqueror bigger and smaller with Ctrl+mwheel or Ctrl+plus/minus. :)

Same with text size is web browser mode.

Didn't know that? It's new, just undocumented or I didn't read the doc?

Bye

Isn't there zoom icons in the toolbar by default?
At least I think there was on my Slackware.
