Description:

WHAT IS IT?

This is a Konqueror Metabar theme.
- very compact and thin
- automatically translatable into your preferred language
- tries to blend well with KDE widget colors and objects.

This theme is based on Slick2 Metabar theme. (look for it on kde-look) I have seen the ajax-y enabled Snowfish theme and am planning to steal some of the goodies. :)

INSTALLATION and UPGRADE

1. Right-click on metabar and choose "Metabar Settings"
2. Click on "Install Theme" button and choose the file you download from here (If upgrading, this package will overwrite the older version)
3. Select slick2 in the pull-down menu and press OK button.

Changelog:

Changelog:
2.8 (January 18, 2007) (slick3 beta 1)
- Rearranged Slick2 for further compactness:
- Can only preview OR view info now.
- added size info to file name for compact but informative preview functionality.

2.2 (October 20, 2006)
Last release of Slick2 line so far.
(look slick2 on kde-look.org)

I started using konqueror metabar since I saw your metabar theme; really great!
I contiune in using slick2 and a feature I'd like to see is that metbar remember if information section was englarged or not.
I like to see file info's displayed but everytime I close konqueror I have to re-enlarge the tab, this is quite annoying.

Hm... i am replying rather late, but in no way in a usefull way... :(

- you can change the theme itself to have your object visible/hidden by default just by changing that flag in the css file, or,
- you can help me implement cookie thing, which would store and read the view settings....

At this time, unfortunately, cannot find time to really perfect the item by myself.
