Description:

TriX - serverless chat for small home or office LANs running Linux. TriX chat based on the VyQChat. The project is released under terms of GNU GPLv2 license. As compared to VyQChat in TriX such new features appears as: files transfer, users avatars, logs, links navigation, broadcast and multicast type of connection, search by IP address and many other, not listed here things. TriX is compatible with 2.0 protocol version of the Vypress Chat (TM) developed by VyPRESS Research, but there are some protocol differences in TriX (needs to support avatars).

Binary packages are available for Fedora Core 9 and Debian Etch.

I cam recieve topics from my friendz and also recieve chat in main channel but can't chat private. The settings of my friend and mine r same. Port is also same. PLZ PLZ PLZ help

Private icq-like chat with Vypress (r) 2.0 is not available now. It will ba available in the next version of TriX (it will be released in some days).

Hi I can't chat with my friends in chat windows as they do in Vypress 2.1 version. But when they send me messege I can chat with them but I can't open the chat window. PLZ help. And update Vypress chat same as 2.1 Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

The vypress 2.0 (2.1) protocol is closed, so compatibility with vypress protocol is experimental and some things do not work well.
