I think it would be nice to have clickable links within Konsole...What I mean is say you're in irssi and someone pastes a link or email address. It would be nice if you could click that link and the corresponding app would open.

I know such things from other applications, and the problem is, that when I want to copy this links or edit them, I cann't directly click on them, because than the browser is open.
When adding such feature it sould be only usable with a key pressed.

i can understand hating links in the text konsole but you could make it that if you click 2 times it would then open the app that deals with that link

Actually even konqueror misses such feature, while Firefox has an extension called "linkify" which converts text to links.
