Description:

I played around with DecGen as yet another attempt at deco for The Dark Star OS.

HOWTO COMPILE:
1) untar the archive
2) cd to the new directory
3)./configure
4) make
5) `su' unless you are doing this as root
6) make install

KNOWN BUGS:
1) Compile may fail in older KDE/Qt versions:
A workaround is to comment lines 2041 and 2042 in kwin/darklight.cpp
2) FreeBSD: libtool may fail misteriously and make will install the files in the pretty wrong directory
A workaround for this:
-before doing ./configure; do `pkg_add -r libtool` unless you have it.
-CONFIGURE MUST BE DONE WITH --prefix=`kde-config --prefix`!!
-after ./configure; do `rm -f libtool && ln -s /usr/local/bin/libtool && cd kwin/config && uic darklightconfig.ui > darklightconfig.h && cd ../..`
-run make and all related stuff.

COMMENTS:
All of those anti-M$ trolls/free software freaks:
DON'T BOTHER RANTING HERE OR DIE.
---
Sadly, I'm forced to use GPL. Argh.
---
My first native window decoration! Hurray!
---
Please, if you like this theme, you can support The Dark Star (based on FreeBSD), for which this theme was made.

Changelog:

2006/09/12
Fixed upload.

R4:
-Included in The Dark Star 4.0.
-Most things redone, using the Gnome theme Linsta.

R3plus:
-Included in The Dark Star 3.0, shoulda called this R4, oh, well...
-Made Close a little darker to make the colorize option still look good. I took care this not to be noticeable with the non-colorized buttons, though.
-Fixed the ugly borders.

2006/8/12:
-added more screenshots. Damn, this isn't bumping, what's wrong?

2006/8/10:
-added a notice about a workaround for FreeBSD users
-and also added a notice about The Dark Star. You're more than welcome to support us!

R3:
-just switched the inactive close button's hover and pressed states.

R2:
-woo! blinkies!

R1:
-tested under KDE 3.2.3 (with the workaround listed above), should work and compile under newer like a charm.
-initial version.

Hi,

r4 looks better then r3. Thx.

But, plaese, if you generate a .tar.bz2, please dont use the extension .tar.gz!!!
Due to this i get gzip error :/

If you fix this i will post an updated ebuild.

Thx
Franz

A windeco that is Kwin-specific, i.e. not the IceWM/deKorator ones.
