Description:

I feel the lack of handwritten notes support on my desktop. This is only a draft, user could use keyboard, pen or tablet, hide/show them, save/delete etc...

the idea's very good but do you think it'd be really very useful without a touch-screen?

Do you really think it feels more comfortable to write with a pen or a tablet than using a keyboard?

Reminds me of an idea I read about years ago (for xanadu? or the mac).

Just select the desktop and start typing, your text appears there just like an icon title (rather than as a sticky note). You then can drag this to any document and it will be pasted there.

Making your desktop function as a clipboard like this allows a much larger clip history than currently is available as well.

(I think msWierd may have some of this functionality (but not all of it), but I've not used it for years.)
