Description: Concept of a radial menu. First image, to open the menu you click on K menu or just make a shortkut using mouse or keyboard. The menu shows on center screen, always. To navigate just move mouse on icons, its names will be showed while you move on its, like docks do, desklets do, etc. Second image, we have few little icons in first circle to get access to some options fast, one of them is the search icon, that shows a search box to enter the application name you want to find into menu. I think this is one of most clever thing that kde developer can do!

Owever I think that the gesture can be a little bit different:

this circle must be invisible by default
to turn on user must use a keyboard shortcut (like the damn win key:) or clicking on a corner (like osx expose) then kde manage the mouse movments and move it to the center of the circle that at the first show only the main menu you move around the mouse then appear another bigger circle around with submenu, if you clik on one of this you pass the control to the secon and bigger circle. If the second circle have another submenu you can choose onme like with the main menu but not only the control pass to the third menu but the second menu substitute the first and will be the smaller circle...also the third menu will be the second and so on.

I think that with this method the lokk appears more clean and confotable

Yeah! That's a very good idea, an innovative menu system better than kxdocker :D
If you apply some particular effects "on mouse over", will be an attractive alternative to MacOSX like menus.

It looks good, but i have a question about usability:

Is it not very dificult for the user to select the right thing? An Example:

1. The User selects Apps
2. then he must move in circles to get to the right side. (movies)
3. If he has bad luck, he must select somthing on the left and again move the mouse in circles...

A posible solution could be to "rotate" the disks instead of moving the mouse around. You move the wheel, or shift-mouse up/down until the desired icon is under the cursor, then click.

There are three things I don't like about this:

one is that I know I can parse a text/icon list faster if it is presented "vertically."

the second is that I like to navigate through lists with arrow keys and tabs, and doing this along a circle would most likely not be completely intuitive.

the last is that one can pack more things in a column than along a circle without things looking cluttered.
