Description:

nuoveXT is an icon theme for GNOME and KDE.

This is my first attempt of creating an icon theme. There is still a lots to do, but I thought I could share what I've done so far. Made entirely with Inkscape.

A big THANKS to:

- Inkscape: what a great tool! :D
- Ubuntu, Linux and Open Source in general
- All the other GNOME and KDE artists who have inspired me and specially everaldo (http://www.everaldo.com/) which is, I think, simply the best icon designer out there ;-)
- Open Clip Art Library (http://openclipart.org/).
- DeviantArt: One of the best place for inspiration and artworks.
- pwsp.net for hosting my project.

Constructive feedbacks are more than welcome ;-)

Enjoy!

Saki

 Icon Naming

The new GNOME icon naming scheme makes a lot of these icons NOT work correctly with GNOME 2.16 or 2.18!

Since Saki appears to have abandoned this icon set, I'm guessing it's up to a third party to update this icon set.

I'm willing to go through and rename the affected icons, but I don't know where to find the proper information regarding what needs to be changed and how! :(

that bottom bar is the regular gnome panel, just set the background to transparent and put applications in it.

if you really want a mac like dock, try avant-window-navigator, you'll need compiz or beryl to make it work
