 _tiny_ bug

Nice theme, small problem with menus with no icons however. It looks like the width isn't being calculated properly:

How strange. The menus work for me on two different systems. Your screenshot appears to be a menu from Konqueror-with-tabs. If this is so, do you still get the same problem with kde-3.0.2? Please email me with particulars so I can nail this one down.

 can't compile

by zulu on: Aug 16 2002

I tried to compile this theme, but I failed. I can't figure out, what's going wrong.

When I try to run configure, it fails and I recieve the error "Can't find Qt>=3.0.2. (qt-mt library not found). Check your installation".

But, actually, I have Qt 3.0.4, and I have qt-mt!

Qt installed to /usr/lib/qt-3.0.4 (/usr/lib/qt symlinked to /usr/lib/qt-3.0.4)

so I have libqt-mt in /usr/lib/qt/lib, and I have a corresponding line in /etc/ld.so.conf

I also tried to run configure with args, for example
./configure --prefix=/opt/kde --with-qt-dir=/usr/lib/qt

but it produces all the same error

My system - Slackware 8.1, KDE & Qt installed with installpkg.

Please help...

PS. Sorry for my English, it isn't my mother tongue 8)

 Re: can't compile

many KDE script search for LD_LIBRARY_PATH
but slackware doesn't initialize the variable
solution:
open the file /etc/profile.d/qt.sh
and add the lines:

if [ ! "$LD_LIBRARY_PATH" = "" ]; then
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$QTDIR/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
else
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$QTDIR/lib
fi
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH

save the file and reboot your system
Now, I hope you can compile QNX
Nice theme

regards

Oho, KDE-style scroll arrows! Thank you. That makes this style much more functional.

Has anyone successfully compile/installed this theme on a Mandrake system? If so, can you give us the correct configuration options that you gave at the command line (./configure ?????). Thanks ahead of time.

 Universal Configure

by Brandybuck on: Oct 4 2002

Score 50%

The following should work on all distributions and systems:

1) Make sure you have the Qt and KDE development packages installed.

2) Execute "kde-config -prefix" to make sure it exists. You should get an output specifying your KDE installation prefix, such as /opt/kde, /usr/local, etc. If this works, go on to the next step.

3) Configure using the following line:
/configure --prefix=`kde-config -prefix`

4) If you still have problems, it is probably because your distro has done some weird stuff with Qt or KDE installation locations. If so, talk to your distro. Qinx should build and install identically to any other KDE-3 source package.

 libXft and libfontco

by simcon on: Dec 4 2002

When attempting to install this RPM it states that this RPM needs these files - libXft.so.2 and libfontconfig.so.1. I don't appear to have these files, they are not on my mdk9 download edition and neither are they available from rpmfind.net. I've never had so much trouble installing a style :(
