I think it looks nice. But it's not (yet) as good as the old QNiX style!
But keep on your work and make it better!

 QNX

I like this style, but IMHO the old one was better. I don't know why. Maybe I just don't like the font you're using (Verdana?).

And I'd like to know what it QNX (or QNiX, not sure). Is this an operating system, desktop environment, window manager...?

 QNX is...

an OS. A "real-time" OS, meaning it can react quickly. It's for the embended market. It's free for a personnal use, but if you thought Linux is lacking apps, don't look at QNX! Anyway some apps are available: editor, little browser, compiler, etc.More on www.qnx.com .

 QNX...

by Soyburg on: Jul 1 2002

Score 50%

... is a Real-Time Operating (Unix) System with a GUI called "Photon microGUI", which has the looks that are recreated by the QNX KDE-styles. You can find the product-sheet for Photon microGUI at

http://www.qnx.com/products/ps_photon/

There's an evalutation kit available (mine didn't expire) and the system is fast as hell. I had it as a third OS installed for more than a year but was too lazy to reinstall after a system-upgrade.

Choose your own fonts! No fonts are built into the style. You are in complete control. See K->Preferences->Look&Feel->Fonts.

I know this, of course;-) I just wanted to say that I don't like the PREVIEW, because fonts don't look nice IMHO.

 Gradients

Very nice theme.

Is there any way to adjust the gradient intensity of the menubars? I like the gradients, bu they are a bit too strong for my taste.

Done! You can now alter the gradient intensity through the "contrast" value of the color scheme.

 libz

I don't think I can help much, as I don't use Redhat. Taking a quick look at Redhat's site, I see that they have zlib split into two packages, zlib and zlib-devel. You must have both installed.
