Description:

IKons 0.5 Pro is a hi-color icon theme. This is the professional edition, which means that it doesn't contain all the icons (e.g. the rocket icon isn't included). If you want the full iKons icon theme, you should download iKons 0.5 Home edition.

This release includes 16x16 icons, 22x22 icons, 32x32 icons, 48x48 icons and 64x64 icons for KDE, a KDE icon theme that can be used with the Control Center, as well as a README file that tells you how to install and alter this icon theme.

Changelog:

* more consistent icons

What about a Script?

I like the 0.4 nav icons. Some people like the 0.4.2 nav icons, and some people like the newer icons. I think, however, that everyone agrees that the rest of the icons are great so... could someone make an install script to choose your prefered ones on install??
At worst, could you include ALL the versions of the navigation icons and explain in a text file how to choose between them (overwriting the ones you choose as default).
I think you should include all the icons you've created, even if its in a folder called "old". It would be a shame losing some of them.

i like your icon theme very very much! good work!!

my fav toolbar style is the "qnix",
but i dont like the "stop" button,
i think the stop button from "netscape" is the best.

it will be nice to have a icon for
ssh, vnc and probably an alternate for the kmail icon.

the only thing i dont like ist the WinXP style "users" icon, it looks nice, but it's XP style ...
but this is possybly only my opinion.

and your cdbruner icon is very nice, a dvd-rom icon will also be cool.

There are indeed still some ugly icons, such as the the WinXP style "users" icon ... that's why I tagged this release 0.4.7, instead of 0.5. Maybe I can replace the two people on that icon by Tux and Konqi?

There's a "Konqi SDK" mentioned in the news section of artist.kde.org, and there is a really good katie image mentioned in the People of KDE "interview" of Konqi, under his favorite links. I'm far too lazy to get and mail them myself :-)

... the zoom on the panel seems buggy: I loaded the theme, but when I select control center or desktop the icon does not simply zoom but also changes. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Just be patient and wait for next version of the icons.

It could be, but the strange thing is: I upgraded from 4.6 to 4.7, and the bigger icon for the control centrer is not the default icon, but the one from 4.6...

inconsistent icons

this is a development release ... this means that I experiment with a lot of icons, and if most people like the new icons, the new icons will become the standard ones. I'm now making a 0.4.8 release. This new development package will include new kpanel icons, new kfm icons and new toolbar (navigation) icons. It will be released this weekend (probabily on saturday).
