Are you working on the Solus OS? It works only with this, because there is no metacity or gnome-shell support.

Didn't notice it was only for Solus. My bad. Just ignore my comment.

These are 'cut down'-versions of the original Arc theme, especially made for- and optimized to work with the Solus OS, by Horst3180 (the original author of the Arc theme) It should work though on gnome 3.18, because this is also based on gnome 3.18. Are you able to choose ARC-OSX (or their variants) in the Tweak-tool?

Yes I have used them before, and these work perfectly fine as well. Completely identical to the originals. When I said it didn't work, I was referring to the OS X buttons, before I noticed it was only for Solus. I'll just change the buttons that come with the team by myself and I'll achieve the same thing.

Thanks,
In the meantime I've uploaded a new version, with more support for gnome shell. Give it a go, will you?

Yes, I've tested it on the live-ISO and it seems to work fine. However I increased the default font-size of gnome shell to 10. Re-uploading it now.

There's a Arc theme for Google Chrome:

https://www.google.be/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwj9sPbRvNTLAhVG0RQKHTsOA0oQFgghMAE&url=https%3A%2F%2Fchrome.google.com%2Fwebstore%2Fdetail%2Farc-chrome-theme%2Foedilkkjhpfhjpbgkloomkpjmficnona%3Fhl%3Den&usg=AFQjCNEdxlblI_-5Fc7bd50atSHqjff_8A&sig2=lD5kOq7ZEUO6jQNPRyBiwA

Should do the trick...

Well, I've installed Chrome stable and it themes as it should. (using gnome 3.18) But if you change themes you really should logout (or even restart) to make the theme actually work properly. It does not always work directly.

Rearding your Comments on my Theme

 by LinxGem33 on: Apr 2 2016

Hi ManjaroCinnamonFan

Thanks for your input negative or positive, as a new contributer to the open source community I felt it was time to take things I like from the themes I use and modify them in a way which suited me, then redistribute them to the community and hope they like my style/version of the themes I use.

Which brings me on to my next point regarding open source and why any of us do it, as you have Ive taken a theme and tried to improve upon it by adding design elements which I think enhance the original theme, just as you've done, and id like to bring to your attention to the GPL

“ Developers that use the GNU GPL protect your rights with two steps:
(1) assert copyright on the software, and (2) offer you this License
giving you legal permission to copy, distribute and/or modify it. “

regarding the osx fonts and top panel osx bar these two things are meant to resemble not imitate as this would be a clear violation of copyright law, as for the fonts they have been added to the css code for any who chooses to add them to there system.

I would finally like to bring to your attention as to why we do it and I think you will agree its because we want to improve open source software and enhance the open community to the best of our ability and I think this collaborative mentality would not just go far in software but in the world in general.

Kind Regards

LinxGem33

What is the desktop/setup in the second screenshot

http://gnome-look.org/CONTENT/content-m2/m175536-2.png

I've installed the theme in cinnamon and see some changes, but I don't see the same foot menu or same square tabs, thinking perhaps the screenshot is of another DE?
