Description:

Gray variation of Numix theme for Cinnamon/Gnome, 4 versions:
Dark
Dark-L (inspired by new Numix)
Normal
Light (inspired by Flat-Plat)

Installation:
1. Extract to /usr/share/themes or ~/.themes.
2. Change via distribution specific tool.

Gnome-Shell and Cinnamon themes are not included in "Normal" version.
Gnome-Shell theme requires minimum version 3.16.

Icon themes used in screenshots are Vibrancy Colors, Numix and combination of Sardi Flat Black and Vibrancy Colors.

Changelog:

08.May.2016. Updated GTK-3.20, now Nautilus sidebar works as intended, fixed more bugs with sidebar, fixed Nemo sidebar. Updated Gnome-Shell themes.

03.May.2016. Fixed Nautilus sidebar buttons. Fixed some assets for Unity. Changed notebook and some other things in GTK 3. Added/updated experimental theme with GTK 3.20 support (not tested yet).

27.Mar.2016. Fixed Gnome-Shell for Gnome 3.16 (my bad, hopefully it will work properly), updated all Gnome-Shell themes, updated Cinnamon. Fixed assets for Gnome-Shell and other minor fixes.

24.Mar.2016. Added "Light" version (including Cinnamon and Gnome-Shell), updated Dark and Dark-L (mainly Gnome-Shell and Cinnamon themes).

02.Mar.2016. Fixed black-boxes for GTK 3, added "L" version, updated assets for Dark versions.

12.Feb.2016. Redesigned Gnome-Shell theme (tested on Gnome 3.16 and 3.18), minor fixes for Cinnamon theme, minor fixes for GTK 3.

~Added very basic slight modification of gnome-shell to fit the theme, tested on GNOME 3.16.
~Added Cinnamon theme.

Using Numix SX Dark, the hover color on the file manager makes unreadable the currently hovered option, could you please change it to another shade of grey to make it more readable? Thanks!

And can I ask what icon package are you using with it? looks a perfect combination!

Hi, thanks. Hover color is standard gray color, sidebar color is white, however, text color should change to dark when hoverin, can you tell me which Desktop Environment and file manager you use?

Icon themes used in screenshots are Vibrancy Colors and combination of Sardi Flat Black and Vibrancy Colors. Those icon themes are availalbe here on gnome-look.

On the dark theme (Numix SX Dark) the sidebar color is black, it does change to a white-ish color, which makes the letters almost unreadable. Here's a screenshot of what's going on: https://db.tt/Q3IBicZ5 I'm using gnome 3.18 and standard Nautilus file manager.

Thanks for the icon pack info, I'll check them out for sure :D

You're welcome, and thanks. For now, since there are some changes in 3.18, change line for sidebar as an workaround.

NautilusWindow .sidebar,
NautilusWindow .sidebar .view {
background-color: @dark_bg_color;
color: @dark_bg_color;
}

Instead of "@dark_bg_color" enter "#c0c0c0" for example, experiment to find a color that may suits your need.

I will redesign numix structure in next update, since gnome-shell also have some problems.

In 17.3*, if you mean for windows decorations (windows borders), sometimes, in Mint you have to reboot (re-log) in order toa ccept new windows borders, also, if it doesn't work, delete and extract theme again, it is a bug in Cinnamon/Linux Mint.

You're welcome, also, update your system, I encountered that problem in Mint 17.3 when testing, but now it change decorations instantly, so maybe they did fix it but you did not updated it, it happened with other themes also.

I am on arch and since the gtk 3.20 update, I have't been able to use it. Any chance of this being compatible with gtk 3.20 in the future?

I did the few versions for GTK 3.20, the problem is, i have to base it on new Numix theme, and problem with New (last at the time of writin) Numix theme is that it have way too many bugs in order to integrate it, and it break compatibility with other DE's, and i really have no knowledge (or time) to fix actual theme bugs.

That said, i will add 2nd theme here on Gnome-Look, but, it is sort of experimental, and expect bugs, and I'm not quite satisfied how it turned out. When i get time, and when Numix project fix all bugs, i will completely move theme to the new version.

The dark theme's titlebar is grey. Using Linux Mint 17.3 Cinnamon 2.8.something. Awesome theme, anyhow!
