 Best theme ever

Thanks for putting so much work in this beautiful fully integrated Gnome 3 theme. It is the most refined, bug and glitch free theme I've ever tried. You did nice animation transitions for GTK and the Shell itself. Everything is perfect. I can now rest after spending years looking for a really good theme. Thank You !!

 Not working with GTK2

Your theme is really nice and fits Gnome very well, but unfortunately is not working with GTK2 applications. I'm using Arch Linux with Gnome 3.18.1, and programs like Firefox, Thunderbird and Gimp looks like they are running on Windows 95. I hope you can fix this issue, I really want to use your theme.

Which directory did you install it? GTK2 themes not loaded from ~/.local/share/themes
I recommend placing theme in /usr/share/themes or ~/.themes

Or maybe there is no pixmap theme engine to display properly. Try install theme engines.
pacman -S gtk-engines

I installed the theme on /usr/share/themes. I just installed gtk-engines as you suggested and now everything is working fine. You might want to consider listing this as required in the description. Thanks for the fast reply.

I had the same problem, but installing gtk-engines did not solve anything. However, I did find the cause.

For some reason, the folder gtk-2.0 had different permissions set. So after setting the permissions to give all users access to the folder, I no longer had the Windows 95 theme.

PS: For the first time in my life I am planning to actually use a non-default theme. Beautiful work you've done here, many thanks!

Thank you for this theme! Request

I love your theme and skin. Thank you so much for your work!
I do have problems with three things (Arch, Gnome 3.18)
1. LibreOffice Menues look washed out (background /font combination)
2. I have a strange effect at the end of boxes. Looks like stiches.. is this a feature? :)
3. Is there a way to make the white in the gnome-shell menues darker?

Thank you for liking it :)
1. I confirmed. But the cause is unknown at the moment. Because based Adwaita have the same problem :(
2. Excuse me, boxes? Is it list boxes like the nautilus sidebar's rows? If so, the transition at end looks not slightly good as you say. I'll fix it.
3. I have a plan to make complete dark theme. But to complete this work, we need some important tasks. Therefore, it becomes a little later to be released.(a few weeks after, maybe?)

10/10 Most Beautiful and Integrated theme I used!

nana4, I must salute you on a great job done. I frequent gnome-look very often, looking for new themes to steal my heart, but none did that until I met Flat Plat.

I admire the quality of your design (UI/UX). This theme looks like a lot of thought and work was put into it. Keep up the great work.

One query though. Is a "Dark" version coming out anytime soon? I believe that'll actually be great!!!

Cheers!

 Has anyone noticed slowness?

by Wompatti on: Nov 2 2015

First I have to say this is one of my favorite themes. The other one is Arc.
I use the theme in Cinnamon, and it works fine on it but when FlatPlat is in use, the whole UI feels a little slow. I'm not sure what causes it, but has anyone noticed something similar?

 Firefox bug

First of all, I want to say that your theme is awesome! I'm using it for Fedora 23 and everything work quite flawlessly! Only one minor bug remains: in Firefox 42 when I hover through site buttons on the bookmarks toolbar, it leaves behind some kind of shadow (?) and I have to hover through them again to make it disappear. I've uploaded a screenshot for you to see (the grey line). Hope you can fix this bug soon. Thank you again for making this theme!

Also, the theme's white legacy tray icon in the bottom left has made app icons like Steam, Dropbox very hard to see: http://imgur.com/37IkUMD. Could you make it darker so that white icons there can be seen more easily? Thank you!

I apologize that my reply became very delayed to you.
Then, thanks for your compliment!

I was confirmed the Firefox bug, but I was not able to find its cause. I'll fix it if I can.
https://github.com/nana-4/Flat-Plat/issues/17

Next, I was changed the legacy tray icon's background color from white to black.

Thanks for your bug reports. :)
