 Awesome

OMG, this theme looks so awesome, but there is a problem. I'm new to Ubuntu, I have Ubuntu 14.10 installed and Gnome 3.14 as DE, but I don't know how to install it. I copied the extracted folder to usr/share/themes but it doesn't appear in Tweak Tool. When I manually select it, it says I can't because of the administrator rights of something. Any help? Thanks!

As far as I know, Evolve OS is currently still using GTK 3.12.
Flat-Plat is designed for GTK 3.14, not supported 3.12.
Please wait for 3.14 being supported in the Evolve OS side.

 Great | on/off switch

Great theme, absolutely love it. Clean, minimalistic, good colors. Have not seen any incompatibility so far (both gtk and shell).

However there's a small thing that bugs me: on/off switch is not symmetrical. When in "off" position it is perfect, but in "on" position slider's touching the border.

It's GtkSwitch, and I believe the problem is with outline-offset. Please take a look. Running: Gnome 3.14

Thank you! I'm flattered.

Exactly, GtkSwitch has a problem. But I don't know why slider position is strange.
I checked outline-offset, but could not solve the problem.
I think the bug is in GTK 3.14, because there was no problem until GTK 3.12...

So I've looked into CSS a bit more and decided to play around with the code yesterday. However, when I edited the file and applied the theme, nothing has changed, even after restarting gnome nothing's happened. Edited _common.css.

How do you test the changes? What file to edit? What tools do you use to design themes?

This GTK3 theme was written in SASS similar to Adwaita. If you want to change quickly, please edit gtk.css and gtk-dark.css. Look at README file in detail.

So, I wasn't able to fix the problem :( Well, it's not like I'm CSS master either ;)

For some reason, the slider moves exactly 6px more to the right than to the left. That would have been alright but when adding "padding-right: 12px;", it changes text alignment :\

Here's what I have right now, and I'm quite happy with it: http://imgur.com/gwmK7wq

Thanks again for such a nice theme!

Great but but breaks modal dialogues.

Theme is great BUT no modal dialogs have tyling. They all look broken.Try for example the file-picker modal dialogue.

+ Confirmation and Success dialogues with buttons (like after extraction of an archive) have squashed buttons.

Running Gnome 3.14.2 on Fedora

I mean the popup windows called "Modal Dialogues" in gnome-tweak-tool. That should do as a screenshot:

OK. I understand.
But it works without being broken in my environment.

I'm sorry to say that I can't think of any good solution.
Possibly some Add-ons of Firefox may disturb.
