EDIT: You have to add 2 more lines to your index.theme to make Metacity to work.

Under MetacityTheme=Snowbird, add:
IconTheme=ICON THEME HERE
CursorTheme=DMZ-Black

This should do the trick.

Again, solved by myself alone -.-

Anyhow, just reverse the order of buttons in dconf:
close,maximize,minimize:menu

that should do the job. Happy computing or whatever you do. Cheers!

that should have gone to later comment which was menu problem. Regardless, as addition, remove menu in button-layout to get clean title bar.

Im using Linux Mint 17.1 and my exit, minimize, maximize buttons are on right. dconf is not doing the job since it just moves them to the left with same order(exit button is on right, regardless side). Any fix?

I like Mac-style themes in general but not those traffic lights at the top right corner ;-)
So my suggestion for like-minded users is to try alternative window control buttons used in themes like Greybird and Faience (also Zukitwo, Mediterranean.* etc. maybe?)
