Description:

Vertex is a theme for GTK 3, GTK 2, Gnome-Shell and Cinnamon. It supports GTK 3 and GTK 2 based desktop environments like Gnome, Cinnamon, Mate, XFCE, Budgie, Pantheon, etc. Themes for the Browsers Chrome/Chromium and Firefox are included, too.

The theme comes with three variants to choose from. The default variant with dark header-bars, a light variant, and a dark variant.

Hi,
I searched a bit around and found out that this is actually a bug of sublime or libpng. The consequence is that sublime can't load pixmap themes with png files. I have included a fix for that in the latest update, so you might want to look into that and tell me if it works.

Very nice work my friend. Theme Looks and works great.
My one bit of feedback is if your bored and get time is perhaps try to make all the Menus dark. And the GTK2 theme dark on the dark variant.

I know that would be a big undertaking and a pain so I would not expect it. You have done alot of hard work already.

I would like add a couple of more suggestions to the Wish List if may ;-)
1) Synaptic Package Manager toolbar issue being resolved (patches of light grey bgcolor on the toolbar)
2) Nautilus sidebar having the same bgcolor as the toolbar above.

PS: Looks very nice with the good old Shiki buttons as well ;-)

Well that's strange because I have the same setup. It seems that the theme doesn't load at all and falls back to the ugly default gtk theme. Are you sure the permissions are set correctly i.e. can you access the files with nautilus? You could also try to install the theme locally, if you haven't already.

You know, I am now on the Arch and Linux world so I don't know what kind of permission I should set. Yesterday I tried to change the permissions for some reasons and the access to my home folder was denied so I won't play with this hihi

The problem are the permissions for sure because if I open nautilus with sudo with termial your theme is applied

I will take a look for these permission. If you can suggest me the good one it would be great sir.

Saw the screenshot of this on dA a week or two back, nice to see it released :)

It's not quite as easy on the eyes as, say, Mediterranean Night (because of the flat white everywhere as opposed to some kind of gray) but it's well-designed overall.
After a bit of tinkering, this is probably the best-looking theme I've used since GrayRevenge :D

Few bits of feedback/bug reporting from my experience so far with the 3.10 version:
- Theme as a whole feels rather bright
- Close buttons in Nemo tabs are unnecessarily far off from the right, and cause truncation of tab titles somewhat quickly https://i.imgur.com/hcm2AQP.png
- Border colors for vertical notebooks seem to be a bit off, where vertical lines are a different color from the horizontal? https://i.imgur.com/hk2U18W.png
- Notebook in gnome-terminal isn't dark-themed http://i.imgur.com/24f7DD9.png
- Seconding the suggestions from a couple days ago, and dark sidebar would be nice in Nemo as well ;)
