Do not listen to others telling you its not a good idea. This work looks amazing. Do not give up. It looks nice to me. Keep working on this one. This could help others wanting to use KDE instead of the windows OS.

Thanks! I can only laugh about the complainers. I never understood people who down-vote or complain without giving a reason for it. Just don't download it if you don't like it! :D Anyway, glad YOU like it and thanks very much for your kind words.

Your description might have given people the impression that votes would convey their opinion of the direction KDE is going in. Given minimalistic flat/non-gradient graphics are going hand-in-hand with users losing options to control how the UI looks & acts, it makes sense KDE fans might react poorly, if you see what I mean.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I rarely bother with even friendly constructive criticism because of the increasingly common attitude of "if you don't love every aspect of my work, STFU and go make your own." It's easy to forget how responsive the KDE crew was to complaints about problems in early versions of 4, as just every non-KDE program & OS/DE team since then has blown off protests.

Just some thoughts hopefully showing you the reasons behind some of the reactions you're likely to see whenever you link your work to KDE 5. :-)

Nothing wrong with constructive criticism, friend. It's people who leave comments like "it's terrible" with no reason, or voting down without an explanation. That's 'destructive criticism' and it's designed to offend, not help.

Borderless versions could be nice too, any chance to do it?

It's doable, and I love borderless decorations, but it's almost impossible to resize with Aurorae.

Any chance on making these obey the colors dialog so you can use whatever colors and contrasts you would like?

Aurorae can't do this, unfortunately. If I find a way to do it I'll update asap.

Really awesome and cool ideas/looks. Have been using some other for over a year now and this is the first I'll be switching to - liked the Black (would prefer the thin version) and the Grey is cool, well the blue are nice as well :)

Keep the work rolling, preferably with whole packs - plasma theme, icons, etc.
