Description:

Delorean-Dark-3.8 is a highly polished glass and metal theme showcased within dramatic contrasts.
Delorean-Dark-3.10 is designed to be sleek and less complicated than its previous incarnation. It's unfocused state resembles a pencil sketch, while its focused state sports multi-toned metallic surfaces.
DeLorean-Dark-3.12 includes two versions Light and Dark. It resembles 3.8. And has many of its own special features, including round menu buttons.

    I have kernel 3.14.5-1-ARCH and my desktop wallpaper is not displayed. Instead is displayed the one provided with DeLorean Theme: a gray one.
    Is it a but? If so, could you correct it, please?
    Also, in my case, the three window buttons, maximize, minimize and close, are difficult to distinguish, becasue they are printed in black on dark color, so could you display these buttons with colours more suitable in order to propertly distinguish them? Finally, when there are many windows overlapped it is difficult to distinguish each of them, could you introduce a kind of shadow around window or do the window borders looks like more sharper, refined and stylished?

    Thanks for this, which is surely one of the BEST themes and far better than Ubuntu's default Ambiance theme!
    Using DeLorean-Dark 3.10 on Ubuntu 14.04, I have some suggestions for further improvement though:
    1) I think Nautilus window represents the peak of the elegance of this theme, and a hover effect in the sidebar (e.g. as in menus) could make it the ultimate example of elegance ;-)
    2) It would be great to have the same perfectly smooth transition/integration between titlebar and toolbar in all other apps (e.g. Chrome/Cromium tabbar has a solid black bgcolor, Synaptic and Thunderbird toolbar/tabbar bgcolor color is much darker than titlebar, Thunderbird active tab bgcolor is much lighter than toolbar below, LibreOffice toolbar bgcolor is both much darker and inset, etc.)

    Hey, Thank you very much!
    I like your suggestions, its just that a few of those apps derive color from their own algorithm. Like the tab toolbar in chrome uses the titlebar color.
    I would however suggest downloading DeLorean-3.12 and copying its gtk3.0/unity.css and the /unity folder to DeLorean-3.10. It matches great and fills in the holes with 3.10's unity theme.
    Cheers!

    The following "userChrome.css" in Thunderbird user profile folder also helps:

    /* set default namespace to XUL */
    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul");
    /* Folder Pane */
    #folderTree treechildren {
    color: #acacac !important;
    }
    /* Folder Pane Hover Effect */
    #folderTree > treechildren::-moz-tree-cell-text(hover) {

    Just to let you know that in addition to using the same background image for Thunderbird Folder Tree as Nautilus Sidebar, and a text color for hover effect there, I've also found that removing the entire section for "Primary Toolbar Buttons" resulted in a more consistent (and better-looking IMHO) toolbar with flat icons: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/39189022/Delorean-Dark-TB-Toolbar-Flat.png
    A minor, outstanding issue: The list in the left column of the Chat Tab uses dark text whereas light text would look better and more consistent.

    I've just noticed another minor issue:
    I'm not sure about the name but it might perhaps be called toolbar-button-menu-button-dropmarker on the attachmentBar which is invisible. So I can see the Save button containing the symbol and label, but no pull-down arrow on the right, although I can open the menu by clicking there.
