Description:

There are two versions of the themes:
- Version 4.0 for Ubuntu 13.04.
- Version 2.7 for Ubuntu 12.10 (I wont update this version anymore because I can't test it).

I made some changes to the originals Ambiance and Radiance Themes, and I added some new color versions too. I'm using textures to give the themes a different look.

The theme contains:

1) AmbianceP: original ambiance with some changes.
2) AmbiancePDark, AmbiancePDarkBlue and AmbiancePDarkGreen: darker Ambiance with some changes.
3) RadianceP: Original Radiance with some changes.
4) RadiancePMetal, RadiancePMetalOrange, RadiancePMetalGreen: a grey version of Radiance.
5) RadiancePCalm: a green version of Radiance with low contrast.
6) AmbiancePNight, AmbiancePNightBlue and AmbiancePNightGreen: a really dark version of Ambiance.
7) RadiancePG, RadiancePGOrange, RadiancePGGreen: a very light theme based on Google Plus theme.

----------------------------------------

FIREFOX PERSONAS:
I created Personas (themes) for Firefox and Thunderbird maching the AmbiancePDark, AmbiancePNight, AmbianceP and RadiancePMetal styles. You can find them in:
AmbiancePDark and AmbiancePNight: https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/ambiancepdark/
RadiancePMetal: https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/radiancepmetal/
AmbianceP:https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/ambiancep/
RadiancePCalm: https://addons.mozilla.org/es/firefox/addon/ambiancep/

CHROMIUM AND CHROME THEMES
For AmbiancePDark, AmbiancePNight, RadiancePMetal and RadiancePCalm: Inside there are folders named Chromium with the chromium theme file. Just drag and drop this file into Chromium's address bar and aply the theme.

ICONS:
I strongly recommend the amazing FS Icons Ubuntu made by franksouza183. In my opinion, it is the best icon set, and it also has different colors. You can download it from http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/FS+Icons+Ubuntu?content=147048

Note: the window buttons used in RadiancePMetal are from the Faience Theme made by tiheum (http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Faience?content=154949).

Note2: The texture used in RadiancePCalm is based on one created by Webtreats (http://webtreats.mysitemyway.com/).

Thanks. Actually, I forgot to mention that the window's buttons from RadiancePMetal are from the Faience Theme.

First, download the file and extract its content (several folders).
Then copy all the extracted folders in Home/.themes (use CTRL+H in Nautilus to show the hidden folders).
Finally, use a program to select and change the theme. I recommend UbuntuTweak, but you can use GnomeTweakToll, Unsettings, MyUnity, etc.

If you need more help, please ask.

Hi!
Thanks for the answer.
The .themes folder does not exist and I don't see any of the applications you mention. I am running Ubuntu 10.12, already know that MyUnity does not run in this version...
What else can I do?

Ok, don't panic, we'll get there!
The .themes folder is where the user themes are stored. It is in your user's home directory. If it's not there, is because you have never installed a theme before. You can safely create the folder (dont forget to start with a dot). Once you did it, copy all the extracted folders from the downloaded file in it.
The UbuntuTweak app does not come installed by default in Ubuntu. You have to download the .deb package from its website (http://ubuntu-tweak.com/). Then, just double click on it to install it. Run the program and go to Tweaks --> Theme (i have it in spanish, so the names may be different) and you should find the new installed themes. You have to change both the GTK and Metacity (window) themes.
I hope i was clear, because english is not my main language.
Good luck, and let me know if you made it work.

 Amazing themes!

I like your themes a lot, especially AmbiancePDark and AmbiancePNight :)

About AmbiancePDark I think it's great the idea to use that cool background on menus, sidebars, toolbars etc. You are doing an awesome work! ;)
I was asking to myself if in the next release you can put that cool background on firefox, chrome and libre office menus, too.

By the way using AmbiancePDark I noticed these two little bugs:

- The playback buttons on Unity sound menus appear on this way: http://ubuntuone.com/7g0Zq79FTlva5ZVyDCuX4K

- On "qBittorrent" software the fonts are not visible: http://ubuntuone.com/7LAV9WOfh4irNQc76TbBSC

Thank you very much for your work! :)

Hello. I'm glad you like the themes.I've been working in your suggestions.
In the new release (v2.2) I've added "metal" background to GTK2 apps (e.g., Firefox, Libreoffice, etc.). I could not make Firefox, Thunderbird and Chrome follow correctly the themes, so I've created specific themes for them. For Firefox and Thunderbird I've created Personas that you can apply from the web, and for Chrome I've added a file that you have to install (see instructions above).
I've also fix the bug with the music controls in AmbiancePDark.
Saddly, I could not fix the issue with qBitTorrent. It seems that the program is not following properly the GTK Theme, but I'm not entirely sure. I will investigate a little further.

 Another little suggestion

I noticed that with this latest 2.3 version the issue about qbittorrent fonts are fixed.. you are great, thank you! :)

By the way, since I'm using a lot AmbiancePDark, it came to my mind another little suggestion: in the next versions could you make the title bar fonts more clear (like white color) when they are highlighted so that they become more readable?

Thank you very much again for your fantastic work ;)

That is actually in my puch list. The thing is that I couldn't make it work so far. When I change that color to white, the color of the other (unselected) tabs also change, making it imposible to read. But I will keep trying!
