Submitted:  Oct 10 2001
Updated:  Apr 20 2004

Description:

'Luna' is the italian translation of the term 'Moon'. It's based on the original Blue theme of WindowsXP.
This style it's written with the old KDE pixmap engine, so it doesn't support the trasparent menu effect.
The applications you see in the screenshot are:
GKrellM: System monitoring tool with Acqua skin. http://www.gkrellm.net
Konqueror: Web browser. http://www.konqueror.org
Kopete: Multiprotocol istant messaging client. http://kopete.kde.org
SuperKaramba Kroller applet: MacOSX like dockbar. http://www.kde-look.org
If you want to download this GKrellM skin visit my Home Page. http://www.aronnax.it

One of the best feeling themes I ever saw!! It feels really smooth and it's very complete (something most styles/themes still lack).. quite nice, what you show off here, and all that with a pixmap style!
keep it up dude, I'll be watching you.. :P

 Great Theme

This is really a graet theme. I would like to see more icons as a next step.

I was not able to get my KDE Menu or Minimize/Close buttons in the top right to look like the screenshot. They still have the old look, with slightly different colors. I'm using KDE 2.1.1 -- Is this something that you have to have KDE 2.2.x to have work?

 Window Decoration

Score 50%

I got everything with the Luna Theme and Style after upgrading to KDE 2.2.1 via RedHat 7.2 -- Things are getting very slick and polished with every release. I'm very impressed.

I did re-install the theme via the Control Center, and then re-installed the style with the command-line style-install.sh command. Everything works great.

Thanks to the Creator. Outstading Job. Please keep adding to it.

Choose the IceWM deco.
Then in the configure tab, you can choose the "Luna" theme...

Make sure you get the XP icewm theme from http://icewm.classic.themes.org

Other than that, the theme looks awesome!

What version of KDE are you running? (it makes a big difference)

you must be running KDE v2.2 or better for the window decoration stuff to work.

(I had the same problem I think you are having until I upgraded, read above.)
